A
boiled Potato cuts breast cancer risk by 62%:
This is the amazing result experienced by women
who eat at least one serving of boiled
potatoes per week in a recent study out of the Middle East.
However, that they must be boiled! Fried
potatoes are effective in cancer-risk reduction
too, but only by 30% after two servings weekly.
Potatoes have been linked to reduced risk for several cancers. In Spain, those
eating one serving weekly had an incredible 92% reduced risk of lung
cancer, and In Singapore, men consuming one serving weekly had 59% less throat cancer.
In Japan, those eating potatoes (or taro or sweet potato) had 56% less kidney cancer.
Potatoes are a very good source of vitamin C, fiber and vitamin B6—but also contains a unique protein called patatin, which has been shown to kill cancer cells in lab
studies,
this is what makes this root vegetable so
powerful.
Potatoes are also very rich in potassium, it has more than double the alkalizing power of pure lemon juice!
